Our Story

An extension of the renowned Del Cabo Events and Del Cabo Weddings brands, YAYA Rentals was born at the height of the pandemic, when almost overnight gathering together in large groups became an impossibility. During that difficult time, we here at Del Cabo quickly recognized a need on the part of all the “bubbles” and “pods” of families and chosen families to make their intimate celebrations more special than ever.
YAYA Rentals was created to fill that need, providing beautiful, high-quality rental packages of both furniture and decor to smaller parties in a safe and secure way. The idea worked so well that it has stayed on well past the pandemic, expanding to fit all shapes and sizes of parties, offering complete design solutions tailored to each client’s visions.

PRISCILA AVALOS

Manager
Priscila boasts an impressive 13-year career in the hospitality industry, all of them dedicated to sales and events. Her ability to build strong bonds is evident in the trust her clients place in her. She considers understanding, responsibility, and attentiveness to clients to be an essential part of her role at YAYA Rentals. What truly drives her is the ability to create unforgettable experiences.
Outside of work, Priscila finds joy in spending time with her family, be it on vacation or simply taking walks together. She also loves a good cup of coffee with friends and date night at the movies with her husband. Her personal motto: “Everything in life happens for a reason.”

NATHALIE ASCENCIO

Account Executive
One of Nathalie’s greatest achievements during her time with the Del Cabo family has been expanding the brand’s portfolio of wedding planners. Her success stems from a careful balance of initiative, empathy, and patience, which she employs every day to anticipate the needs of her clients, ensuring that each bride is truly satisfied with the look and feel of her wedding. She often says the source of her enthusiasm is the joy in the faces of newlyweds when the big day arrives and the happy couple has the finished product in front of them.
In her free time, Nathalie loves heading to the beach with friends, and discovering new places in her travels. She places a high value on learning, specifically the ability to evolve in a fast-paced world, principles that she applies daily in our dynamic events industry.

PAMELA IZA

Account Executive

Pamela is well known in our Del Cabo family for her ability to face challenges with patience and optimism. Pamela derives immense satisfaction from seeing her meticulous design and planning materialize into successful events. What she loves most about her work is the opportunity to play a part in some of the most special days her clients will experience.
In her personal life, Pamela finds serenity in the invaluable quality time she spends with her 7-year old son, Renato, who inspires her to appreciate life’s every moment.

LIZETH TLATEMPA

Account Executive

With three years now in the events industry, Lizeth began her journey as a public relations specialist before moving into weddings. Her strong communication skills and attention to detail are pivotal to her daily success. Lizeth believes that by delivering exceptional service she is able to have a truly positive impact on the lives of her clients.
Spending time with her family and exploring new places fills Lizeth’s time outside of work. A consummate foodie, she especially enjoys discovering new restaurants, and also devotes as much time as possible to reading.

THELMA MEJÍA

Account Executive

Thelma has six years of experience in the events industry, and believes understanding is paramount when engaging with clients. She seeks to find preemptive solutions so that both big events and smaller occasions run smoothly. To that end, her knowledge of our inventory is nothing short of encyclopedic. What she loves most about her job is the versatility and the opportunities for professional growth that working in the events industry offers.
When the work week ends, Thelma enjoys going to concerts and exploring the sea while snorkeling and freediving.

EMILSE ITZEL TAMAYO FLORES

Administrative Assistant
With just one year in the events and hospitality industry under her belt, Emilse has already established strong relationships with many of our clients and suppliers. A big part of what she does is to facilitate the payment process, providing smooth and seamless service to our clients. Her ability to build trust has been crucial to her success, and is a reflection of her great patience and well-honed communication skills.
Her interests outside of YAYA Rentals include boxing and running while listening to music, reading, and going out with friends. Her personal mantra is “Return to yourself” which reflects her philosophy of striving for authenticity and self-empowerment.
